TGIF!

It is so pretty in Marietta, after a night of HAIL! The weather is so completely random here. Anyway, I am looking forward to tomorrow, being in the SUN! Then Sunday we are going to church and then going to Taste of Marietta, which is a huge festival here. I will post pictures from this weekend if I take any.
Grayson is still moving and kicking and I can feel him about once or twice a day at this point. I got the crib and Jay put it together. It looks good.

Almost halfway through this thing! Gotta get everything ready, so I am not rushing at the end!

End of April already?

I went home this weekend and got to see everyone. It was really nice! I also found out that it only takes 3 hours to get from Jesup to Marietta! That excited me. Lately people (strangers) have been really noticing that I'm pregnant, which means I must have hit a growth spurt. (New bump photo below...) Tonight, I had NO question that I felt him move! It was the coolest thing ever. It took my breath away! I was so caught off guard and amazed! He is becoming such a little person to me now. I get my crib Wednesday, so it will be fun to get that set up. My next appointment is on May 6th, so I am looking forward to that! I guess I will write again when I have more to talk about.

The weekend went by WAY too fast! It is already Sunday evening. This weekend was eventful I guess! It kind of started Thursday night for us- we saw Lady Gaga in downtown Atlanta. She was AWESOME! I have loved her for so much longer than most of the rest of America, so I had a BLAST! Friday night, we had terrible weather. There was rain, hail, strong winds and tornado warnings which were accompanied by tornado sirens! I had never heard those before and I was TERRIFIED! Within 2 minutes I was in the bathtub with couch cushions over my head expecting the roof to blow off. Needless to say, we survived. Saturday was relatively boring, cloudy outside, layed around and rested. Today we went to GrandDad and Franca's for Easter lunch. What a beautiful day to celebrate the ressurection. I took a nap on the hammock and worked on my baby blanket in the sun. It was great. I am really enjoying the 2nd trimester! I have so much energy and I am feeling so much better. The weather is getting better here too, so I am giving this place a chance. Soon it will be pool time! I also ordered the crib and bedding this weekend. Here they are:


I am excited to get them this week. I also started stocking on diapers this weekend. I have 5 months to be fully prepared, so I will not procrastinate!

This week will be a busy one at work, and then next weekend we are headed to Jesup. We plan to leave work on Friday when we get off and head straight to Jay's mother's house to stay. Friday morning I hope to take my Dad's car to Brunswick to see my friends for a couple hours. I will then be spending the rest of Saturday and Sunday with family in Jesup. I am looking forward to it!

It's a boy!

Went to the doctor today! My cervix is still getting longer, clocking in at 3.5 cm! Great improvement since the first visit when it was 2.8. I am no longer at high risk for the moment. The Ultrasound tech asked if I wanted to know what it was, and I said OF COURSE! So, the predictions were correct! It is 100% boy!! You can see in the 2nd picture below where the arrow points. I am excited to start Yoga and my prenatal swimming class this week!

Lovely Weekend!

So, I promised pictures from this weekend so here they are! These are from Saturday...




And here are some from today with the girls. We had such a great visit today! The weather was nice, so we got our food to go and ate it at Tinsley Park in Cleveland. Then we walked the nature trail and it was so much fun. After that, we got ice cream and then the girls helped me make my baby registry at Target.

TGIF! It's Friday finally. Also the end of my 14th week. (I am 14 weeks tomorrow.)
Pregnancy wise- I am feeling great! The second trimester issues have all been resolved (so far). I haven't had any bad headaches this week, I have 100% more energy, and the cervix issue seems to have resolved itself...for now at least. I am having some round ligament pain, but that is a good kind of pain. It just means that my uterus is getting a lot bigger and stretching the muscles around it.
The weather is nice today and tomorrow, so tomorrow Jay and I are picnic-ing with Franca and Granddad at Kennesaw Mountain. It should be great weather for that. Sunday, we are going to Cleveland to see the girls for the day. I will post pictures from the weekend on Sunday night! Have a good weekend everyone!
